David Onome Ogbeni popularly known as Dave Ogbeni is a fast rising Nollywood actor, model and a television personality. He is popularly known for starring in romantic movies alongside with several Nollywood celebrities. He was born on 30th April 1980 in Ughelli, Delta State in the south southern part of Nigeria. 
Dave Ogbeni was born into a polygamous family in Ughelli, a small town in Delta State in the south southern part of Nigeria. He completed his primary and secondary school in Ughelli, Delta State, Nigeria and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.
After completing his primary and secondary school education, Dave Ogbeni proceeded to University of Benin in Edo State, Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Globalization and Development.
He has lived in most States of Nigeria particularly in the south southern part of Nigeria. Dave Ogbeni started acting since his childhood and has acted in several stage play and drama during his primary and secondary school days.
Dave Ogbeni was also a show promoter before he entered fully into the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood). He is currently married to his university girlfriend, Omoye, and the marriage is currently blessed with two babies male and female named Ohenemaro and Esiri. Dave Ogbeni is currently the CEO of Boh Records.


He has featured in several Television Reality Shows among which are Amstel Malta Box Office, Benson and Hedges Show, Mami African Fashion Show, amongst others. Dave Ogbeni joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 2013 through the help of Nollywood movie producer Uche Nancy and rose to fame after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Ogbanta the Family Hunter” which was produced by Uche Nancy in 2015.
Dave Ogbeni has acted in over 70 Nollywood movies which include Ibu in Trouble, The Enemy I See, Deep Water, My America Fund, Gallant Babies, Not My Princess, Stigma of Womanhood, Ogbanta the Family Hunter, etc.

Dave Ogbeni has acted in several movies alongside with Nollywood celebrities like Olu Jacobs, Mercy Johnson, Mike Ezuruonye, Majid Michel, Yul Edochie, Ini Edo, Tonto Dike, Chioma Chukwuka, Chiwetalu Agu, Eucharia Anunonobi, Prince David Osie, John Dumelo and many more.

He has been nominated for Best New Act to Watch at the City People Entertainment Awards and Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.
Dave Ogbeni is currently one of the richest and most influential actor in Nigeria.
In 2019, Dave Ogbeni was assigned as the Special Assistant on talent and Development to Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okonwa.
