Director Osazee Dickson write about his new Debut movie "Blood and Colours"

The organiser and director of Blood and Colours write on his Facebook page "BeninCity awaken to its repute for creativity and civility on a film production set in urban Benin. When it comes to addressing issues that matters like the wave of upheavals in cult activities in the city, it is only natural for the creatives to get to work on an artistry interpretation of the circumstances that leads to cult violence and it's anticipated resolves .From the production house of Ocean portal films in the ancient kingdom, comes a raw narrative that addresses the menace of cultism. The director Mr. Dickson Osaze makes an attempt to relate how pertinent it is to start working on the matter that is throwing the society on edge. Particularly in the city of Benin where there is so much going on with issues related to cult violence and crime. Ocean portal film studio's CEO, Mr Dickson Osaze also known as Mr. Ocean as earlier stated, highlights the importance of movie communication in societal vices. The movie in production is screen play to give an insight to cultism detrimental impact at multiple levels in the society. Titled Blood and colours Because of obvious cult association to colour identity. The star studded movie was produced by Ocean portal films in association with the Association of Nigerian Movies Director(ANMD) and Association of Movie Practitioners.(AMPRAC). The Movie stared the likes of Ngozi Ezenu, Chawatal Agu, Kenneth Ibanuse, Blessing Nwankwo, Ify Black China, Juliet Idele, Rawlings Okoeguale,Sandra Onocha, Mama K and a host of many more industry faces. With regards to talents in the ancient city of Benin, Ify Black China a Nigerian Chinese Artist, attested to the fact that Benin with its unique cultural values also play host to Future screen idols.as he marveled at some delivery on set made by young Edo Actors. The veteran actor, Ngozi Ezenu confirm the urgency and encouragement needed in the film industry for more stories like this to be properly illustrated. it is our responsibility as movie practitioners to relate a complete narrative on impacts of cultism in our everyday engagement. One might not feel affected by it until you see this movie. We must create awareness and show genuine concern over cultism related cases, Kenneth ibanuse, President (ANMD) stated. We have an obligation to shape and influence thought process of present and future generations. Chiwatal Agwu described the "Blood and Colours" movie production as most timely because of where Nigeria stands in her history, as Cultism is also deeply rooted politically in malignity. From cult to political tools. Ocean portal films studio boss in throwing some details into the making of the movie, stated that the need to let people picture themselves in the characters played by various actors was necessary. This movie was also made to show how we are all interconnected. Edos are a cultured people, and having to deal with this gruesome act of cultism prompted the project from conception, scripting, filming and post. Blood and Colours hit cinemas latter this year 2022. Created to entertain, inform and educate."
